Chris Whitaker Appointed General Manager of Elexon Electronics
Elexon Electronics is pleased to welcome Chris Whitaker as our new General Manager.
Chris has been part of the Elexon Group since 2020, beginning as General Manager of Elexon Mining. In that role, he led operational improvements, supported business growth, and raised the company’s profile in the mining technology sector. Under his leadership, Elexon Mining was named a finalist in the 2023 Queensland Export Awards for its work in advanced technologies. He won the Award for Exporting Excellence at the Moreton Bay Business and Innovation Awards in 2024.
Over the past year, Chris has also been closely involved with the Elexon Electronics leadership team, working alongside outgoing CEO Frank Faller on strategic projects, business upgrades, and the Elexon2Zero quality and sustainability program rollout. He now steps into the General Manager role to lead the company through its next stage of growth.
Chris also brings senior executive experience from Aim Lab, a respected medical device design and manufacturing company, where he focused on lean systems, high-quality outcomes, and cross-functional team development.
At Elexon Electronics, Chris will continue strengthening internal systems, supporting innovation, and ensuring the business remains a trusted partner in defence, aerospace, agritech, Iot, and advanced manufacturing.
