Business Development Manager at Elexon Electronics, John White, will be flying the flag for the Brisbane-based electronics manufacturer at Indo-Pacific as part of a consortium of prime contractors on the Citadel Secure stand.
Prior to joining Elexon Electronics, John was an RF Design Engineer, then Operations and technical sales channel management, working across a range of sectors including Defence, which affords him a rich practical and technical knowledge of complex electronics.
“It gives me a better balance because I can talk at the right levels and very quickly identify key benefits on both sides, as well as knowing how to communicate them for decision makers,” said John.
John is excited to be attending Indo-Pacific, aiming to further cultivate existing relationships with industry as well as forge new connections across Defence.
“We are excited about the opportunity to engage in discussions about the maritime application of our unique intellectual property in the field of sensor technologies. Our core strengths lie in engineering and product development, and our vision is to create sensor products to strengthen Australia sovereign manufacturing, that are globally recognized and in high demand,” stated John.
For Elexon Electronics, a company that recently recovered from a devastating fire at its Brendale facility in Brisbane, there are new design and product developments it wants to put to the Defence sector at Indo-Pacific to gauge interest and gather feedback.
“This expo allows us to be able to talk directly with some of the decision makers within Navy and gather intelligence on the real Defence needs and pain points. We have projects we are excited to discuss, hoping to gain feedback as well as make strong connections with the right people,” said John
