Installation: 


The Smart Marker System is easy to install using standard mining equipment.

Step 1

Install the Readers
  • Provide electrical and network (if used) services at planned Reader locations.
      
  • Install Reader mounting bolts at Reader locations; mount and commission the Readers.
 
Step 2

Activate and install Markers
  • Activate the Smart Markers by swiping them over the Activator and install them in pre-drilled holes or feed them to the cave.
     
     
     
  • The installation locations are stored in the Scanner.
     
     
     
  • Installation locations can be downloaded into the Marker Management System at a later date so that the rock flow can be analysed. 

 
  
  		Step 3

Let the mining go on!
  • Markers are automatically detected from the LHD bucket when LHDs drive under Readers.
     
  • Data is transferred from the Reader to the surface via the network (if used) or by downloading to the Scanner via Bluetooth.
